Easter is a big event for our family. It starts out on the night before Easter with all of Mike's family gathering at his grandma's house for an easter egg hunt and easter baskets. Then on Easter we go to church in the morning and then depending on the year, we go to either his family's big Easter event out of town or to my family's Easter at Nana's house. This year we went with Mike's family.
Zoey was still going through a lot of seperation anxiety at Easter time. She pretty much needed to be with me the whole day on the night before Easter. All Mike's poor family wanted was to be able to hold her, but she wanted none of that. She did pose for a couple cute pictures though and got her very first basket.

Zoey also got to sport an adorable bunny hat that Grammy made her. It was adorable on her :)

At church on Easter Zoey had a couple crying spells when she had to be away from me, but did good overall. We left after Sunday School in order to let her take a brief nap before going to Mike's family's dinner. We were also able to get some nice family pictures of the three of us.

At Mike's family dinner Zoey met all of Mike's extended family. She let a couple people hold her and she had her very first Easter egg hunt. It was a long day, but well worth it and we all had a good time.
