This week Zoey had her first Valentine's Day. She was 8 weeks old. In the beginning of the week, the church had a couple's event. There was some confusion where we were told by one person that we could not bring the baby but our Pastor told us it was fine. Zoey spent most of the evening asleep in her carseat. We were able to get a second family photoshoot (ironically in the same outfits pretty much) that night.

For Valentine's Day, my mom offerred to babysit Zoey for us while we went to Outback Steak House for dinner. It was so hard leaving Zoey since I had not spent any time away from her at that point. My poor mom though, Zoey began her 2.5 month long separation anxiety phase that night. We were gone for about 3 hours...Zoey cried for 2.5-2.75 of those 3 hours. Not a pleasant experience for my mom!
